A YunMing reading is a one-time digital artefact — once you have opened it, it has been delivered. To keep the policy clear and fair, refunds work as follows.

### Refundable

- **Unopened readings.** You have paid but have not yet clicked through to view the reading's contents. - **Generation failure.** A technical fault on our side prevents the reading from being produced, and we are unable to re-run it within seven (7) days. - **Duplicate charges.** A system anomaly resulted in being billed twice for the same order.

### Non-refundable

- **Opened readings.** Once you have clicked to view the reading text, the cultural artefact has been delivered and is not refundable. - **Dissatisfaction with content.** If the tone, length, or interpretation of a reading doesn't match your expectation, we cannot refund. Please review the tier descriptions and samples before purchasing. - **Orders paid more than 30 days ago**, whether opened or not.

- **Unopened readings:** request a full refund within **7 days** of purchase. - **Generation failure:** request a full refund within **14 days** of the incident.

1. Order reference (from your receipt email). 2. Reason for refund. 3. Payment method used.

We process refund requests within **three to five business days**. Once approved, the refund returns to the original payment method; your bank or wallet clearing cycle may add a further three to ten business days before the credit appears.

1. **Promo codes and credits.** Refunds are based on the amount actually paid; the promo code is not reissued. 2. **Subscriptions.** YunMing does not currently offer subscriptions. If that changes, a separate policy will apply. 3. **Iron Plate (HK$388) orders.** This tier involves substantial compute and curation effort. Please review carefully before opening — once opened, it is non-refundable.

If you disagree with a refund outcome, you may ask for a written review. We reply within ten (10) days. If the matter cannot be resolved, the forum specified in Section 8 of the [Terms of Service](/terms) applies.
